Goals number 50 and 51. David Pastrňák scored two goals for Carolina and reached a milestone that only two Czech hockey players reached in the past. Jakub Lauko also scored a goal on the night.
David Pastrnak (Boston Bruins)
Fifty humbled. David Pastrňák got into a break situation in the opening period, which, with a bit of luck, ended with his fiftieth goal of the season. Pastrňák became only the third Czech hockey player to reach a similar milestone. Only Jaromír Jágr and Milan Hejduk were similarly successful before him.
However, Pastrňák did not let up in the rest of the match and increased his goal tally by one more goal in the second half. He is currently nine goals behind Connor McDavid in the scoring table.

The fourth goal of the season was scored by forward Jakub Lauko, who performed a fine individual action and beat Frederik Andersen with a shot from the right circle. But the duel did not end happily for the Czech youngster, he was injured in the third period and withdrew from the match.
