Michael Carrera debuts with Gran Canaria in Spain

This Saturday saw the debut of forward Michael Carrera with the Gran Canaria Basketball Club against UCAB of Murcia for the Spanish ACB League, a match that ended with a 107-89 victory for those from the archipelago.

The international with the Venezuelan team played a total of fourteen minutes at the Gran Canaria Arena and scored ten points, six of which were made from shots from outside the line of three. Likewise, he made a stopper.

He was the fifth player with the most scores among those who were on the field for his team, which is in seventh position in the table with fourteen wins and nine losses, five and a half games behind the current leader, Real Madrid.

Carrera is expected to have more minutes for the remaining days of Iberian basketball, thus demonstrating the good level he has shown both in his previous clubs and in the national team.
