In the 20th week of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League, Pınar Karşıyaka defeated Fenerbahçe 102-98 at home last night. In the first half of the fight, it was reported that the national basketball player of the yellow-dark blue team, Metecan Birsen, who was injured in his left shoulder, will be away from the fields for about 6 weeks.
Fenerbahçe’s statement on the subject said, “Our player Metecan Birsen suffered a left shoulder injury in the first half of the Pınar Karşıyaka match played in İzmir on Monday, 13 March. During the detailed health checks of our athlete in a private hospital, stage 2 injury was detected in the acromioclavicular region. It is foreseen that the return time of Metecan Birsen to the fields will be approximately six weeks”.
