The now 64-year-old American lost just 31 times before claiming his 100th ATP win.
Alcaraz said confidently after beating Tallon Griekspoor: “I saw that I’m the second fastest player in history with 100 wins. That makes me really proud.”
Third in this ranking is Andre Agassi (100/35). Among the three legends of the new millennium, Rafael Nadal was the fastest with 100 wins (37 losses), followed by Novak Djokovic (100/43) and Roger Federer, who lost significantly more often (100/68) to start his career. Boris Becker cracked this mark after only 40 defeats.

Alcaraz over 100th victory on the ATP tour: “I’m proud of myself”
Incidentally, the Spaniard had his first ATP victory in February 2020 at the Rio Open against Albert Ramos-Vinolas – so it only took him three years to reach the 100 mark. However, the record as the youngest number 1 in the world, which he broke with his US Open victory in 2022, should be much more important to him.
