In the 1st round dominated by the amazing -9 of Carson Young on the always quite windy course of Grand Reserve in Rio Grandethe native of Marseille returned a card of 70 which places him in the first third of the classification, in 28th place, 7 strokes behind the leader.
Passed in the par on the way, Trainer made no mistake on the return, recording two good birdies on par 3 of hole n°11 and on par 5 of hole n°14 where he returned a small approach to negotiate from the small rough.
