Manu Leroy has been appointed as interim CEO of the Belgian Football Union (URBSFA), of which he is currently the marketing and communication director. The URBSFA announced it on Monday. He succeeds Peter Bossaert, whose contract was terminated last week.

Manu Leroy was appointed by the task force set up by the Board of Directors of the Belgian Union to find an interim CEO and then a successor to Peter Bossaert.

The task force is made up of the President of the Belgian Union Paul Van den Bulck, Pascale Van Damme (independent administrator), Marc van Craen (administrator on behalf of Voetbal Vlaanderen), Philippe Godin (administrator on behalf of ACFF ) and Peter Willems (administrator on behalf of the Pro League).
