In the loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday night (104-110), Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic received his 16th technical foul of the season. By reaching this total, after claiming a foul from the referees as usual, the Slovenian should have been suspended for his team’s next match. The NBA finally withdrew this fault and the whimsical 24-year-old player will be in the game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.
The end of the regular season for the Mavericks is very complicated, but Jason Kidd’s players have therefore benefited from a little boost from the North American league. The NBA did not provide any explanation for this reversal of the situation but reversed the decision of the referees, who had sanctioned the Texas franchise star in the third quarter.
Recently out of the Top 10 in the Western Conference, the Mavericks will have to start again in Indiana after four straight losses.
