Riga “NND/RJTC” becomes the second finalist
Another finalist of the ELVI floorball league for women became known today – Kocēni “Rubene” was joined by the Riga team “NND/RJTC”, which in the third game of the semi-final series, which took place on the opponent’s field, with 6:2 won “Kekavu”. Elina Dīce was the most productive among the winners with 3 (2+1) points. The result in the series is 3:0.
In the semi-final series between the teams “NND/RJTC” and FK “Ķekava”, the battle was certainly more intense than the other pair, however, the result in the series is identical. “NND/RJTC” was superior with 4:3 and 7:6 in the first two games, which took place on the field of Riga.
The result of the match in Ķekava was already opened in the 4th minute by the host Katrīna Kate Fībiga – 1:0. However, the Čekaviets failed to develop their success, as they were trailing 1:3 by the first break. Dārta Derupa, Marta Reke and Elīna Dīce each scored a ball in the goal of FK “Ķekava”. In the second third, Dīce scored another goal, increasing his team’s advantage (4:1). In the final result, “NND/RJTC” celebrated the most convincing victory in this series (6:2), achieving a 3-0 success in the entire series.
