Lakovic will not be on the bench against Betis or Joventut

No luck. Jaka Lakovic, CB Gran Canaria coachhe will not be able to sit on the bench either in the match that the Claretian team will play this Saturday at the Arena against Real Betis (7:45 p.m., Movistar Deportes). The Slovenian coach will thus serve the third game of suspension, of the four that he was imposed due to his expulsion in Granada.

After the sole competition judge, under the tutelage of the Spanish Basketball Federation and not the ACB, dismissed the allegations of the Gran Canaria club last week and informed the entity that it could once again file an appeal on this decision by providing new evidencewhich was carried out last Monday, there is no change of opinion on the part of the disciplinary body.

Although from the Granca it is pointed out that they are going to present an appeal to the TAD (Administrative Tribunal of Sports), a body dependent on the Higher Sports Council (CSD), they also assume that Jaka Lakovic will complete the full suspension, especially for a matter of time.

And it is that the next match of the Endesa League that the Claretian team must play, after being measured tomorrow Saturday against Betis, arrives next Tuesday since there is a scheduled weekly matchday in the Endesa League, where the yellows receive Joventut.

But Gran Canaria, despite this, will appeal to the TAD. The entity wants to continue with the issue until the last consequences. An opinion shared by Lakovic, who intends to fight to clear his name.
