The strongest club of the regular season “Kurbads” played the last two games of the regular championship against the Narva team, the Latvian team being superior in them with the results 4:1 and 10:0.
In the semifinals, the first period turned out to be equal, with the teams scoring two goals each. In the second third Kurbadians gained a significant advantage (5:3), increasing it during the final 20 minutes.
He successfully threw twice for Riga Rihards Ligis and the experienced Kaspars Saulietis, who was recognized by his teammates as the most valuable player in this match. Roberts Yekimov, veteran Hardijs Paradnieks, Andrejs Kostyuks and Mārcis Zemberg, stood out for “Kurbad” once.
Maksims Burkovs scored two goals for the Narva club, while Aleksandrs Saprykins scored one.
The start of the second game of the series is scheduled for Sunday at 14.00.
