“Koh-Lanta”: a first Belgian candidate leaves the adventure

For this 24th season, the production of “Koh-Lanta” had decided to catch up with last season, by choosing three Belgian candidates to participate in the edition of “Sacred Fire”.

« Koh-Lanta: the sacred fire “: second episode, second elimination. At the end of a turbulent episode marked by food poisoning among the yellows, one of the candidates for the red team had to leave the adventure and unfortunately, he is one of the three Belgians in the adventure, Emin Luka.

At 56, Emin was the dean this season. His elimination in the second episode is tinged with disappointment but also with pride. He was on the bench last night on TF1, facing the Brainoise Helena Roosen.

In an interview for the future, he reveals that he had been applying for the adventure for 20 years already. His elimination so early in the game is therefore a disappointment. ” I had been applying for twenty years and I thought I had the qualities to go much further. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen that way. You have to accept the rules of Koh-Lanta “, he confides.

The candidate was still able to play a little strategy by looking for one of the necklaces of the adventure but also by finding the secret weapon that allowed him to vote twice.

The adventurer is especially disappointed not to have been able to show his qualities: ” I knew that the first two weeks were going to be complicated. We had to let the storm pass. I had other qualities to demonstrate – in balance, in archery or in apnea – but I didn’t have time to demonstrate it “, he explains to the newspaper.

But Emin remains very proud to have finally been able to realize his dream: “ I lived my dream. Obviously, I wanted to go further and why not win. But you have to find the right vein to get there and a bit of luck “. From now on, Emin sees further and would very much like to participate in other shows: ” I’m up for other challenges, like Beijing Express or Fort Boyard. Or even a return to Koh-Lanta, why not? I would prepare differently at the sporting level ».
