Discarded by injury from the French selection during the last World Cup, Karim Benzema has just refused to travel to the Stade de France this Friday evening.
Unsurprisingly, Karim Benzema will not be at the Stade de France this Friday for France-Netherlands. He had however been invited by the French Football Federation (FFF) to participate in the tribute to the new international retirees: Hugo Lloris, Steve Mandanda, Raphaël Varane but also Blaise Matuidi who recently announced the end of his career.
The Real Madrid striker declined the offer. According The team, Benzema warned the FFF of his absence by email indicating that he was not available. This is not a surprise given the recent publications of the former Lyonnais on social networks against Didier Deschamps.
