Saturday 4 March 2023, at the Palazzetto dello Sport of Ladispoli (RM)the following races are held:
-“Qualification for the Italian Cadet Championships A2 M/F”;
-“Regional Grand Prix 1st -2nd -3rd DAN M/F”
organized by the FIJLKAM Lazio Regional Committee.
The two races saw the participation of over 400 female and male athletes.
So the positive note of the large turnout should be further highlighted, demonstrating that we are sending the pandemic into oblivion.
In this context, wonderful for its welcome and hospitality, a great heritage of hospitable Lazio, three bishops of theASD THE WILLOW, they performed well, also bringing home an excellent podium.
Among the “Cadettes”, in the competition for qualifying for the Italian Championships, at the limit of 63 kg, VALERIA CECCARELLInow known as a “veteran”, finished in 7th place.
While in the Grand Prix for the conquest of the Black Belts, the very valid Senior, still young with experience in major tournaments, but always combative without fear or hesitation, who will soon return to compete also in university championships, SARA UBERTINIan athlete who fights at the limit of 52 kg, finished in 3rd place and earned a splendid bronze medal.
The other “Cadet”, the returning one, did the same MATTEO TRAPASSO, who fights in the category up to 81 kg finishing also in seventh place earning his first two points at the end of the conquest of the Black Belt.
Therefore given the results of the athletes, however very constant in training at the facility “The Five Elements” which is located in Via dei Gladioli No. 12 in Avezzano, we look forward to 2023 with great confidence, both for the Italian competitive season and for a possible new trip abroad from where various invitations are arriving! Obviously it will be the precise care of the Association to announce the destination and race as soon as the details are closed.
