Jalen Brunson and Nikola Jokic, Players of the Month for February

The NBA has named Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets as Players of the Month for February.

Brunson has guided the Knicks to a monthly record of 8 wins and only 2 losses, becoming the first Knick to win such an award since Julius Randle in April 2021.

In his ten games played, he has averaged 27.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6 assists, 52% shooting from the field and 42% 3-pointers in 37.8 minutes per day.

For his part, Nikola Jokic has shone with his own light in the West and has led his Nuggets to a 9-2 monthly record while they remain leaders of their conference (44-19) opening a gap of six games compared to the second classified: Memphis Grizzlies.

In his eleven games played, he has averaged an impressive triple-double: 22.6 points, 14.2 rebounds and 10.2 assists in 33 minutes per game.

Coaches: Budenholzer and Brown

As for the best coaches for the month of February, the NBA has appointed Mike Budenholzer (Milwaukee Bucks) and Mike Brown (Sacramento Kings).

Budenholzer has posted a perfect 10-0 monthly, and also leads the Boston Celtics for the lead in the Eastern Conference and the NBA in general.

For his part, Mike Brown has obtained a remarkable 8-4 keeping intact his aspirations of reaching the playoffs directly. They are currently third in the West with a 36-25 record.

Rookies: Banchero and Kessler

The one who was number 1 in the past Draft 2022, Paolo Banchero, is sweeping the East and has once again risen as Best Player of the Month thanks to his 16.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per night.

For his part, Walker Kessler has stood out in the West, averaging a double-double with 10.6 points and 11.4 rebounds, and has also obtained 3.2 blocks per game.
