Ivory Coast: Sébastien Haller back after his cancer, first for Jonathan Bamba

Ivorian centre-forward Sébastien Haller, after several months of absence due to testicular cancer, has been called up by Jean-Louis Gasset for the Elephants’ next two matches against the Comoros, in Group H of the qualifiers for the Cup. d’Afrique des Nations 2023, according to the list published this Wednesday on the Federation’s website.

The 28-year-old striker, who arrived at Borussia Dortmund in July, had only participated in a few training sessions before he was diagnosed with cancer, days after signing.
