Isabelle Potier, ninth black belt second dan of the club

Beaugency. 9th black belt 2nd dan at the Judo Club de Beaugency.. It was in Orléans, during a grade pass, that Isabelle Potier passed her kata to become the ninth second-dan black belt of the Beaugency Judo Club (JCB).

The second female to reach this rank at the JCB, Isabelle started judo at the age of 15 at the Sémalens club, in the Tarn. In 1993, she moved to Loiret.

With her husband, first dan

Then, in January 1997, she became a first dan black belt at the USO judo club, where she met her future husband.

She then moved away from the mats between 1999 and 2004 due to maternity. Mother of two judokas (one brown belt and the other black belt), she joined the JCB in 2004.

With her husband, a first dan black belt, she passed all the tests to obtain her second dan. His teachers, Franck Thomas and Jérôme Granbien are proud of this course and salute his success.
