Pep criticized Haaland for being lazy to be more actively involved in City’s games.
RB Leipzig coach, Marco Rose, admitted that he could not stop thinking about the criticism that was leveled by Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, towards Erling Haaland.

Even though his team were able to keep Haaland from scoring, Rose felt compelled to praise his former Borussia Dortmund team-mate in his debut season in the English Premier League.
Before being criticized by the coach himself, the Norwegian bomber was also considered by a number of parties to be unsuitable for Pep Guardiola’s ball possession-based style of play, even though the player has a high chance of breaking the English Premier League goal record for one season.
“If you don’t want him, send him to me! I will bring him,” Rose said in his pre-match press conference.
“Even just for the last 10 matches. After that, you can get it back!”
“I was very surprised by the (criticism). He scored 28 goals in 26 games in the Premier League. If you take those goals away, I don’t know where City are.”
“I don’t know what we’re talking about. Everyone knows about Haaland’s qualities. We defended well against him on leg first, but you can never completely shut him up.”
Meanwhile, Haaland only needs five more goals to equal Mohamed Salah’s Premier League record for most goals in a season with 32 goals in the 2017/18 season.
