I would have no more patience with him. I wouldn’t want him to stay in the team, said Komňacky about Fillov from Zlín

He belongs to the most experienced players in the league, he has to push his team to the rescue. So far, however, it seems that he is sabotaging the difficult mission. Against Sparta, the warrior Martin Fillo was sent off in four minutes, after the expiration of the punishment he was sent off a minute and a half. Of course, Zlín couldn’t play the entire game in a weakened state. He lost to Slovakia 0:3. “Frankly, I say that I would no longer want such a player in the team. And I would let him know it properly,” admitted coach František Komňacky in an interview for eFotbal.cz.

In the duel with Sparta, Fillo went on the pitch in the 82nd minute, but was already out of the game in the 86th. In addition, he managed both yellows in just one minute. He was suspended for two matches, but did not question his conscience. When his punishment ended, coach Pavel Vrba included him in the starting line-up in good faith. And it was a fiasco.

The derby between Slovácko and Zlín has hardly even started yet, and Fillo has already seen another red card. He shot Stanislav Hofmann in half with a brutal kick.

“For a player to be sent off so quickly in two matches in a row, I’ve never experienced that before. This is such a rarity that probably no one has ever experienced it.” Komňacky shakes his head.

He is usually quite vigilant in his courts, he keeps his distance. But now he started at the first step. And he was burning black.

“This is a huge mistake by someone who is supposed to be the backbone of the team. A player the coach can count on. But that doesn’t happen, and I confess that I wouldn’t have patience with him any longer,” noted the renowned coach who led Baník Ostrava to the title of league champion.

“I was at the match between Zlín and Sparta. Fillo did it the moment his manchaft took a breath. At that time, nothing was decided yet, but he put a club in the back of the team. One would say that it really shouldn’t happen to such a player, but it’s football, it happens. But if he comes back after the punishment expires and practically does it again, moreover, right at the start of the derby with Slovácko, it’s simply impossible to get over it. It is not possible. Especially when you are playing for rescue, for being naked and not being in the competition. I confess that I would no longer want to have such a player in my squad and I would let him know that. I would stop counting on him,” added Komňacky.

The saddest part is that Fillo really isn’t a rookie. He turned 37 in February. “That’s another thing. If an eighteen-year-old did that, you’d better believe they’d learn from it. However, if a footballer does it, he is pushing to 40 and will not get better… This is also why I think that Zlín should have no more patience with him. At least that’s my view of the matter, although of course they can see it differently at the club.” concluded Komňacky.

Olayinka on a pillion? Just slow down with the criticism, especially in his case. Nerves run throughout Slavia
