The new captain of the Blues looks back on the victory against the Netherlands, Friday, at the Stade de France.
Kylian Mbappé (striker and captain of the Blues, after the 4-0 victory over the Netherlands ) : «Finish on this penalty saved? That’s great. We didn’t want to concede a goal. To make everyone happy. I know it’s important for Mike (Maignan) not to concede. It’s the first time he’s been number 1. He starts with a clean sheet. It’s great for him, we’re very happy. I hope it will give him a lot of confidence because we are all behind him.
Successful comeback? We prepared all week with the idea that we couldn’t disappoint our audience. It’s the first time we’ve played here since the World Cup.
