Athletics Badminton Avellino: great results also in Puglia. The sports association successfully participated in the Santeramo in Colle Grand Prix tournament.
The performance of the male and female under 15 athletes who fought without ever backing down in every match played was excellent, obtaining extraordinary results.
Thanks to them but also to the technician, professor Costantino Maietta and to the parents who accompanied and incited them relentlessly.
The results achieved
masculine singular. After a final battle Mount Mahmoud took second place, third place for Dello Russo Antonio and Carbone Vincenzo; men’s doubles: 1st place for the couple Dello Russo Antonio / Rakib Mahumud2nd place for the couple Velle Antonio/Di Donna Claudio3rd place for the couple Dei Medici Mario/De Biase Herman.
Feminine singular 3rd place for Martha of Benedict. Women’s doubles third place for the couple Marta Di Benedetto/Dello Russo Serena.
Finally for mixed doubles:
1st place for the couple Dello Russo Antonio/Di Benedetto Martha
2nd place for the couple Dello Russo Serena/Carbone Vincenzo
3rd place for the couple De Biase Herman/ Genovese Eva.
The athletes also participated in the Para badminton tournament Marco Taurasi and the novice Conrad of Paduawho have won important points for the participation in the Italian Championships in November.
An applause, of course, to the Headmaster, Alessandra Tarantinoof the IC Mercogliano for having allowed the students to participate in the tournament and to prof Michael Spiga who, with his constant commitment, is making all the schoolchildren practice badminton.
