Girgenson active in attack, “Sabres” painful loss (VIDEO)

Last night in the National Hockey League (NHL), Zemgus Girgensons and the Buffalo Sabers lost to the Montreal Canadiens hockey players with a score of 3:4 in the post-game shootout, failing to win the third consecutive victory.

Girgenson was on the ice for 16 minutes and 34 seconds, during which he scored three shots on the opponent’s goal and remained with a neutral efficiency coefficient of 0. In general, the 29-year-old Girgenson has accumulated 16 (9+7) performance points in 70 games this season.

In the second minute of the game, “Canadiens” defender Jordan Harris took the lead, but just over two minutes later, “Sabres” Czech player Lukas Rousek equalized on the scoreboard.

In the second period, Montreal hockey players were the first to score when Alex Belzile scored, but later John-Jason Peterka and defender Riley Stillman scored two goals for the Sabres. Finally, Brandon Gallagher scored the third goal for the “Canadiens” in the final 20 minutes of regular time, while Michael Pezetta scored the decisive post-game shot.
