Full weekend: rugby, badminton and basketball in Adra

Rugby, basketball and badminton have coexisted this past weekend in Adra. On the one hand, the Badminton Senior of Andalusia has been held with the participation of more than fifty players from different Andalusian provinces. An event organized by the Andalusian Badminton Federation, in collaboration with the Adra City Council, and in which the local Alborán Badminton Club team has participated. Likewise, the Educational Meeting for the Promotion of Pequebasket has taken place, which has brought together more than 100 boys and girls from the prebenjamín and benjamín categories of almost a dozen teams from all over the province. Two sports events that have taken place in the Municipal Sports Pavilion.

Another sporting event this weekend in Adra was the VI Gradual Rugby Concentration, organized by the Andalusian Rugby Federation, together with the City Council and the CR Marrajos Rugby Adra and URA Almería teams. An event that has taken place in the Miramar stadium, and which has brought together some of the best academies in Andalusia, such as Ciencias de Sevilla, CR Málaga, Escoriones de Granada, Jaén Rugby, CR Marrajos Rugby Adra and URA Almería.

A total of 120 boys and girls who have enjoyed a spectacular day of rugby with more than 15 matches, in an atmosphere of camaraderie, which has culminated in the already traditional third half where all the players eat together and recover strength after a hard day of sport. These sporting events have had the presence and support of the mayor, Manuel Cortés, and the mayor of Sports, Pedro Peña, as well as other councilors from the government team.
