Fortaleza Tritões announces five new reinforcements for the FABR season

Fortaleza Tritões continues to strengthen itself to do well in the 2023 season of the MANUFACTURER. The team from Ceará hit the arrivals of offensive linemen Michel Almeida, Célio Pontes and Rômulo Ribeiro, defensive back Daniel Victor and defensive back/punter João Pedro, better known as Mingau. Most of the reinforcements were in arch-rival Ceará Caçadores.

Defensive back Daniel Victor, better known as Paye, highlighted the expectation of being part of one of the strongest teams in Northeastern American football.

– We have the potential for incredible development from the collective! I hope we can make history together, building a legacy that will serve as a guide for the next generations of American football in Ceará and Brazil – he said.

The offensive lineman Rômulo Ribeiro had passages through teams like Dragões do Mar, Ceará Fênix and also by Ceará Caçadores. He hopes to make an immediate impact on the team that will compete in the Brazilian American Football League (BFA League) not second semester

– I hope to contribute to Fortaleza Tritões on and off the field. With 10 years of fullpad experience, I will bring to the team, and especially to the defense and team of specialists, the mentality and focus needed to raise the level of football. I came to Fortaleza Tritões to be a champion and I will spare no effort to reach that goal – he highlighted.

Last month, Fortaleza Tritões announced the arrival of North American head coach Joe Daniels and announced the arrivals of North American quarterback Quentin Williams, formerly of Ufersa Petroleiros and União da Serra, and running back Mateus Mendes, who was one of highlights of Ceará Caçadores.
