The Formula 1 World Championship 2023 has begun, world champion Max Verstappen won the first Grand Prix of the year in Bahrain ahead of his teammate Sergio Pérez. Surprisingly, ex-world champion Fernando Alonso came third in an Aston Martin.
As in the previous year, 23 races are on the program. 24 Grand Prix were originally planned, but the Chinese Grand Prix was canceled due to the corona pandemic. New to the racing calendar
For the third time in history, Formula 1 is making a guest appearance Las Vegas, although the race there will be held for the first time on a new street circuit.
