Wagner started his coaching career at SpVgg in 2021: With the U19s, the former striker of TSG Hoffenheim and FC Bayern managed to get promoted to the A-Junior Bundesliga. For the 2021/2022 season, the 35-year-old took over the first team, with which he is currently the leader in the Bavarian regional league. “I learned an incredible amount during this time: about myself, about working with a great team and what I still want to learn as a coach,” said Wagner.
