FIFA 23 gets International Women’s Day cosmetics

In partnership with independent designer Harkiran “Harky” Kalsi, EA Sports has announced new cosmetic items for International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8, for FIFA 23. The custom items will come to Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football . Shirt, balls, boots. A series of cool things to celebrate this special date.

In addition, the company announced the players Sam Kerr (Chelsea), Chloe Kelly (Manchester City), Catarina Macario (Lyon) e Dzsenifer Marozsan (Lyon) as official FIFA 23 ambassadors for the celebration.

“Growing up, I looked up to male soccer athletes and it’s really cool that the next generation is able to look up to some incredible female athletes. The need to raise female voices and continue to evolve the game remains, and I’m proud to partner with EA SPORTS as they continue to advance the women’s game. International Women’s Day is a fantastic opportunity to highlight these contributions and I look forward to seeing this kit in-game,” said Kerr, who is one of the FIFA 23 cover stars.

Harky Kalsi, in turn, thanked the opportunity and commented that his inspiration was the color purple, recognized as one of the symbols of International Women’s Day.

“It was an honor to produce the International Women’s Day Vanity kit for EA SPORTS. Representation matters – on and off the field – and I am proud to play an important role in bringing women’s football to the forefront. From the custom ball to the cleats and kit, my inspiration was this year’s theme of embracing equity and the global color of International Women’s Day. I can’t wait to see these items in-game!”

Custom items will be available in-game starting this Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

FIFA 23: EA wants to help promote images of female soccer players

When it promised, during a special event in London last year, that it would invest more in women’s football, EA Sports made a nice commitment to the game. And, this Monday (6), she announced the arrivals of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) to FIFA 23. Find out more here.
