The Progressive Player of the Year for the 2022 season of the Professional Basketball Super League, Fernando Fuenmayor, will return with Brillantes del Zulia for the 2023 SPB season.
The information was released by the team through a press release in which they welcomed him back to the squad.
During last season he averaged 9.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals with Brillantes, so the board decided to include him back in their ranks.

“Fuenmayor’s performance in 2022 in the SPB gave him the ticket to defend Venezuela in the past AmeriCup, being the first Brillantes del Zulia player in its short history to be called up to the national team,” the text says.
“The man born in 2000 saw action during the ‘dead season’ with Obras de Argentina, in which he continues to develop as a Venezuelan talent abroad,” the statement concluded.
