NFC Bayern Munich apparently panicked after losing the lead in the Bundesliga. According to the report by “Bild”, the club is separating from coach Julian Nagelsmann with immediate effect. As the “Kicker” reports, ex-BVB coach Thomas Tuchel, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 and was also the coach of Paris Saint-Germain for several years, should take over this week.
So far, neither the club nor Nagelsmann have made any official statements. First, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reported on the rumors. Nagelsmann took over FC Bayern in July 2021. The 35-year-old’s contract would actually be valid until June 30, 2026.
After the international break, there will be a smash against leaders Borussia Dortmund – and it could lead to a very spicy reunion. Because, as the “kicker” reported, there should have been contact between the former BVB coach Tuchel and the Munich team in the past few days.
