Eidukas world championship in cross-country skiing ends with 17th place / Article

The winner was Sweden’s Eba Anderson, who finished in one hour, 22 minutes and 18.0 seconds. In the last distance of the championship, the slowest skier Anne Kjersti Kalva earned silver medals in the last distance of 53.0 seconds, while the bronze medalist was the winning compatriot Frida Karlsson, 54.2 seconds behind the champion.

Anderson won the fourth medal and the second highest medal in the championship in Planica – previously she remained unbeaten in the skiathlon distance as well. Karlsson also won the fourth medal, however, she does not have gold on her account.

Three minutes and 46.1 seconds separated Eiduku from the winner at the finish.

It has already been announced that earlier in the championship, Eiduka rose to 11th place in the 15-kilometer skiathlon and won 19th place in the 10-kilometer freestyle with a separate start.

The World Championship in Planica will end on Sunday with the men’s 50-kilometer skiing competition.
