Dwight Howard takes part in the 3-point contest in Taiwan

Dwight Howard actually competed in the three-point contest in Taiwan, but didn’t make it to the final round.

The former NBA superstar converted just 10 of his 24 attempts and also failed to fire all the balls on the basket in the allotted one minute. In the end it was 15 points for the 37-year-old, who took sixth place out of eight participants. However, it was not enough for the final round.

In his entire NBA career, Howard sank just 22 three-pointers at a rate of 21.4 percent. However: In his last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, “Superman” netted eight of his 15 attempts, but was not offered an offer by an NBA team after that, so he continued his career in Taiwan.

Howard has been playing for the Taoyuan Leopards since November, but they sit sixth in a six-team league (record: 4-12). Howard has played ten games in Taiwan so far, with the center averaging 25.6 points, 14.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 34 minutes.

Howard had more success in the All-Star Game, he led Team Infinity to a clear 179:124 success with 37 points and 13 rebounds.
