Dragisa Gudelj suffers a heart attack at Córdoba – Racing de Ferrol: the Sevilla player’s brother is in the UCI

The Serbian central defender of Córdoba Dragissa Goodellj, who was evacuated this Saturday by ambulance to a hospital from the El Arcángel stadium, where his team played a RFEF Primera match against Racing de Ferrol, is in the ICU but stable and conscious.

The 25-year-old brother of Sevilla player Nemanja Gudelj is undergoing tests at the Reina Sofía Hospital, in the Cordovan capital.

The Córdoba-Racing de Ferrol match was stopped after ten minutes of play and later suspended due to the footballer fainting on the pitch, who was treated by the medical services on the stadium pitch and later transferred by ambulance, already conscious, to hospital.

Dragisa Gudelj was unwell and collapsed on the groundwith which the assistants entered to perform the cardiac massage.

After about ten tense minutes, the ambulance took the conscious player in the direction of the Reina Sofía Hospital. The image of Gudelj getting up twice from the stretcher when they were going to put him in the ambulance, he will always remain in the retina of the white and green fans who already have good Dragisa as an idol and an example of what it is to feel colors.

After the tremendous scare both teams they decided to suspend the matchwhich registered a tie at one, after consultations between coaches, footballers, refereeing team and leaders, which was announced by the public address system of the stadium, in which there were just over ten thousand spectators.

Córdoba has thanked on social networks, in addition to the club’s doctors José Miguel Bretones, Antonio Escribano and Martín Luna and the physios Alex Rueda and Fran Plazato the assistance of Los Angeles of the Nightfrom the doctor Veronica Arroyo and, above all, of Cardiologist José María Segurawho has come down from the grandstand, where he was watching the game, to assist Gudelj.
