Cleveland wants to retain Caris LeVert

On February 6, 2022, the Cleveland Cavaliers sealed the transfer of Caris LeVert from the Indiana Pacers. Since then he has alternated the roles of substitute and starter becoming an indispensable piece for coach JB Bickerstaff.

Therefore, despite his status as an unrestricted free agent in July, the Ohio franchise would like to tie his renewal as soon as possible, according to sources close to the media. Cleveland.com.

LeVert, 28 years old, is in his last guaranteed season valued at 18.79 million dollars, and in 68 official games (28 as a starter) he is collecting figures of 12 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4 assists in 30.1 minutes per night.

Despite posting the worst numbers since his rookie season, he’s looking more confident than ever with his shooting with a record 37.6% shooting from 3-pointers.

The Cavs, fourth in the East with a record of 46-28, barely have eight official games left to go, and two of them against direct rivals such as the Brooklyn Nets 03/24) and the New York Knicks (04/01).
