Where to follow the green-and-whites match to access the cup quarter-finals
The stands of the Stadio Monigo are preparing to fill up for the eighth-final of the Challenge Cup between Benetton and Connacht scheduled for Saturday 1 April at 4.00 pm.
The cup match becomes a crossroads of the season especially for the green-and-whites, virtually still in the running for the URC play-offs, but returning from a heavy defeat in terms of morale like the one suffered by the Lions last week.
The expectation in view of the meeting is inevitably high, with Bortolami who will have to field the best of the squad available to bend one of the toughest opponents in European rugby.
In Galway, in the last game played between the two teams in the URC, a good first half wasn’t enough to stop the hosts, who then won 38-19 at the end of a more even match than the score suggests.
Four months have passed since the match played on Irish soil in December and now the Treviso team, after brilliantly passing the first phase of the Challenge, must try to take the decisive step towards the quarter-finals.
