César Costilla and Chandler Blanchet are located at the top of the Roberto De Vicenzo 100 Years Memorial that takes place at the Ranelagh Golf Club. The Argentine and the American signed two cards of 68 shots in the third round to total 201, -12, and lead by one the Argentine Andrés Romero who today made 69, Rafael Echenique, 69, Leandro Marelli, 66; and the New Zealander Charlie Hillier, 69, with only 18 holes to go.

“I am very happy, I have been playing the putter very well and that helped me this week. I didn’t expect to be in this position because I’m not playing many tournaments and tomorrow I hope to continue like this”, said the man from Tucumán, who recorded an eagle, three birdies and two bogeys on this third day. “It would be very nice to be able to win the tournament in honor of the Maestro, especially since when I won the Open of the Republic in 2009, Roberto handed me the cup,” added the experienced 43-year-old player.

At the end of this third round, the statue was presented in homage to Roberto De Vicenzo, located between the tees of holes 1 and 10 of the Ranelagh Golf Club. His sons, Eduardo and Roberto, Miguel Leeson, Executive Director of the Argentine Golf Association; Patricio Mussi, Mayor of Berazategui; Paul Morey, Chairman of the Ranelagh GC; Germán Galli, Director of GolfPlay and promoter of this event; Marcelo Soria, from the Argentine Professional Golf Tour; Diego Boueke, from Argentina Golf Professionals; Vicente Chino Fernández, one of the great figures in the history of national golf; and relatives of Roberto De Vicenzo.

As in the previous stops, the Zurich Argentina Swing continues this week with its Hoyo Solidario. For each birdie or eagle made during each of the four rounds of competition, Zurich Argentina will make a donation to the Fundación Futuros Profesionales Integrar.

As the fourth and final event of the 2022-23 PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season in Argentina, the Roberto De Vicenzo Memorial 100 Years will mark the end of the Zurich Argentina Swing. This traditional competition that has unified the Tour events in Argentina since 2015, will once again reward the player who earns the most Totalplay Cup points in Argentine tournaments with a prize of USD $10,000.

After the third round of the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, Abel Gallegos is in sixth place on the board with a total of 207 strokes, -9, four behind David Skinns of England that is pointer. The player’s card from 25 de Mayo threw birdies at 3, 5, 6, 7, 14, 17, 18, while he made a mistake at 1, 8, 10. For his part, Alejandro Tosti adds 211 strokes after completing his tour Saturday with 74.

In a final round of the Corales Puntacana Championship, one of the two competitions this week on the PGA TOUR calendar, the Argentines are far from the main positions and the best placed among them is Augusto Núñez, who made 69 strokes this Saturday to add 213, -3, from position 45. For her part, Tano Goya closed the day with 71 for 214, while Emiliano Grillo recorded 74 for 216. They are led by Nicolai Hojgaard from Norway and Sam Stevens from the United States with 202 hits, – 14.
