Calvin Ridley reinstated by the NFL

Calvin Ridley can play in the NFL in 2023.

The league officially reinstated the Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver on Monday, ending an indefinite suspension for betting on games less than a year ago.

Ridley, 28, had filed for reinstatement on February 15.

The 26th overall pick in the 2018 draft, Ridley was acquired by the Jaguars during his suspension last November in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he appeared in 49 games over four seasons with the Falcons. He hasn’t played since Week 6 of the 2021 season, having walked away from the squad citing mental health considerations on October 31 of the same year.

In career, Ridley had 248 catches for 3,342 yards and 28 touchdowns.
