Brazil will host the 2023 Women’s World Cup cup tour, which will take place in Australia and New Zealand between July and August this year. The trophy will be received in Rio de Janeiro on the 29th and 30th of March and will be exposed, with the possibility of visiting the public.

The cup will be unveiled early on the 29th, at 6:30 am (Brasília time), at the iconic Cristo Redentor Sanctuary and will be attended by idols of women’s football, such as Formiga, Aline Pellegrino and the current coach of Brazilian Team, Pia Sundhage. At this event, the trophy will be on display and will give the public the opportunity to take pictures with the trophy.

On the 30th, the trophy will be displayed at the City Palace and received by the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes. The president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, the minister of sports, Ana Moser, and other authorities and personalities will also be present for the event.

The trophy will not be the only attraction in these two days. The social project “Daminhas da Bola” will participate in the initiative “A Day for the Women’s National Team”, in which the project’s athletes will have a training session with the technical committee of the U-20 Women’s National Team.
