Tathiana Garbin has released the list of players called up for the match between Slovakia and Italy valid for the preliminary round of the BILLIE JEAN KING CUP by Gainbridge 2023. In view of the match on 14 and 15 April 2023, the captain of the Italian national team has called up the following players:

A little more than four months after their participation in the Finals in Glasgow, the Azzurri are back on the field against the Slovakian side which will be represented for the occasion by Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (n° 101 WTA), Victoria Kuzmova (n° 132 WTA), Tereza Mihalikova (No. 48 WTA Doubles) e Renata Jamrichova (n° 615 WTA), captain Matej Liptak.
The challenge is scheduled on the indoor carpet of the NTC Arena in Bratislavain the same structure that last year had hosted the throbbing Davis Cup challenge won in the decisive match by Filippo Volandri’s Italy over the hosts.
The Billie Jean King Cup challenges – scheduled from 3 pm on Friday and from 12 noon on Saturday – will be broadcast live and exclusively in Italy on SuperTennis Tvthe free-to-air television channel of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, and on the digital platform SuperTenniX.
