The Barça representation of the Spanish team against Scotland will be limited to Gavi, since the other FC Barcelona footballer mentioned by Luis de la Fuente in this break, Alejandro Balde, has been ruled out and will not be in the final list of 23 summoned for the Hampden Park match. Balde started and played the 90 minutes at a good level against Norway (3-0) at La Rosaleda, but the new coach wanted to reward José Luis Gayà on the left side. The Valencian player aims to start and, if he suffers a mishap, Real Madrid player Nacho can always play in that position.

The other discarded footballer has been Dani Olmo. The RB Leipzig footballer, who led the way to victory against the Norwegians, was suffering from discomfort and De la Fuente has chosen not to make it enter the list of 23.

Enter David Garcia and Borja Iglesias

Let’s remember that the Spanish coach made a first call-up of 26 footballers from which the FC Barcelona midfielder Pedri fell due to injury. The list remained at 25 footballers, but still it is necessary to exclude two in each matchsince UEFA only admits a maximum of 23 selected.

In the first match against Norway, The players who did not make the call were the center-back David García and the striker Borja Iglesiaswho are in the summons for the match against the Scots at the legendary Hampden Park.
