In total, nearly 200 players from around thirty different clubs (Haute-Loire only has 7) will take part in this tournament.
A nice challenge to take up for the small local club which organizes this tournament which has become, over the years, an unmissable event for many badminton players from Haute-Loire, but also from neighboring departments.
The objective remains the same as in previous years: to promote the territory through badminton by becoming ambassadors to people who do not necessarily know Haute-Loire, Velay and Emblavez. All the prizes offered are made up of local products and some players coming from afar will stay on the territory.
The program
The tournament will take place Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday will be the adult mixed doubles. On Sunday will be held the ladies’ and men’s doubles. Prize giveaways will take place throughout the day as the heats wind down.
Note that the BCE will organize another tournament on the same principle, but for young people. It will take place on April 22.
