EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- The Association of Sports Clubs of Pedro Brand (ASOCDEPEBRA) began the first meeting on Tuesday night to carry out the details about its organization and that of the next top basketball tournament that will be held in that municipality for next June.
The meeting was attended by different representatives, leaders and personalities such as Alvaro Pineda, Alberto Mota Paulino, Sebastián Diroché, Wady Román among others, thus specifying the details for the good process that the new edition of the top tournament would mean.
“The time has come for Pedro Brand to be rewarded with a good event and what better than Playing Basketball, for each young person to be a part and make us part of the good that we represent, sport is a good way and we bet that this will be what It will mark a before and after in our history,” said Alberto Mota, leader of the 27-G-UNIT team.
For his part, the general organizer of the meeting, Alvaro Pineda, called on all the municipalities to trust in this new adventure, which will bring many good things for the benefit of all.
Likewise, the communicator Wady Román stated that this tournament is of the utmost importance for youth, and despite all the negative things that our sector is experiencing lately, something positive like this influences keeping our young people away from bad influences and focusing on what it truly is healthy for our well-being.
