“Kyoto Festival Pihyaradon”, a stage play that fuses drama and old-fashioned games, will be performed in various places in the city from Saturday, March 25th.

On the stage, various traditional games such as beanbags, bamboo dragonfly, tops, soap bubbles, etc. Then, folk tales from all over Japan, filled with people’s wishes and joy, will be performed, and at the end, a lion dance will be performed to create a small festival-like atmosphere.

A member of the troupe says, “There are many seeds of imagination and ingenuity in traditional games.” It seems to be a stage that conveys the joy of playing with friends and enriches the hearts of children.
