Algeciras Logistic Solutions wants to expand its presence in the Port of Algeciras (spain), so that it has asked the Andalusian enclosure to grant a plot of land in the Isla Verde wharf as a concession. Specifically, the company wants to use a surface area of 1,312 m² and a 514 m² warehouse for logistics and merchandise storage, parking, and administrative offices.
Taking this request into account, those responsible for the enclave have begun a public information period of twenty business days, so that interested parties can present their claims, allegations or observations through the electronic headquarters of the Port Authority.
For its part, Algeciras Logistic Solutions has been working for more than 25 years offering comprehensive logistics services in the area of the Strait of Gibraltar.
Among its activities, it is worth mentioning that the firm provides a critical door-to-deck delivery service for ship spare parts and marine parts, road transport, including dangerous goods, storage, air cargo agent services, replacement of chains and anchors, in addition to urgent transport.
A novelty in the port area is that the Department of Infrastructures of the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras wants to repair the defenses of the east and north docks of Isla Verde Exterior, after having analyzed the state of conservation of each of them.
