In the Catania tournament, played last weekend and valid for admission to the playoffs for the top flight, theAlba Shuttle Badminton it conquered an excellent second place, surpassed only by Modena in the final classification.
The Emilians obtained 15 points by winning 12 out of 15 matches while the team from Alba achieved a total of 10 victories, for a total of 21 games won.
The team from Alba will therefore be able to play its cards on May 13 in Milan to attempt a return to Serie A and, given the assumptions, there is room for optimism.
The five players involved in the Sicilian away match Faizan Aslam, Jakub Boero, Giuseppe Monchiero, Ilaria Fornaciari and Sofia Protto did better, in their group, than highly accredited teams, such as Senigallia and the home club itself, and will be engaged in the coming months in tournaments and training aimed at decisive concentration.
The ascent to the top national championship is therefore possible thanks to the mix of experience and youth of Antonio De Pasquale’s team, followed with affection by the fans.
