Achraf Hakimi Accused of Rape, This Is What His Lawyer Says

Paris

Achraf Hakimi was charged with raping a woman in Paris. The lawyer for the Paris Saint-Germain defender spoke up.

The L’Equipe report said Hakimi was accused of raping women at his residence in the Boulogne-Billancourt area, a suburb of France, last weekend. The woman who is said to be 24 years old is said to have come to the police station the day before.

Hakimi himself was reportedly examined in the middle of last week. Her lawyer, Fanny Colin, believes that her client is being targeted for blackmail.

Colin reasoned that there was no further legal action from the woman. He emphasized that Achraf Hakimi also denied all of his accusations.

“After several hours of hearings, what I take from it is that the accuser did not press charges, refused to undergo any medical or psychological tests, and refused to be confronted by Achraf Hakimi, even though the accusations existed solely at his word,” said Colin, reported by GFFN.

“In my opinion, according to elements in the hands of the judicial police, Hakimi, in this case, has been the target of attempted extortion,” he said.

The woman’s attorney, Rachel-Flore Pardo, has yet to respond to Hakimi’s representatives. The victim is said to only want to talk to the authorities.

“My client has chosen to confide in the authorities and will only speak in front of them,” he said.

The news that Achraf Hakimi was tripped over a rape case surfaced at The Best FIFA Football Awards event early last week. The Paris Saint-Germain player from Morocco himself is one of the players included in the FIFA FIFPro Men’s World or FIFA Best Starting XI in 2022, after performing well with Morocco at the 2022 World Cup late last year.
