PEDRO BRAND.– The Niche Academy defeated the Pichardo Academy with a score of 5 runs to 1 at the start of the 2025-2026 Class Tournament in Cuaba Pedro Brand.
Justin Encarnación was handicapped for five innings at the Pichardo Academy accepting a single hit, conceding three tickets and giving 7 strikeouts, Andy Comas charged with the setback for the Pichardo Academy.
Niche’s boys opened the scoring in the first inning when Henry Nival doubled and scored with a single by Randy Santana, followed in the third with two more runs thanks to a single by Angel Pérez, a double by Randy Santana and a single by Eliazar de Jesús .
The most outstanding offensive players for the Niche academy were Randy Santana with a double and two singles. Two runs scored and three RBIs, while Henry Nival, Ángel Pérez, Eliezer de Jesús and Justin Valdez had a single each.
Jose Pimentel was the most outstanding with two singles for the Pichardo academy.
In another match, the Sandy Nin Academy defeated the LINE DRIVE academy with a score of 14 runs by 7.
