A bus in which they were travelling, together with their two coaches, schoolchildren from the cadet and children’s teams of the Albacete Basketball School, has overturned on the highway in which 27 people were traveling as it passed through the municipality of The Gineta (Albacete) which has forced to cut the A-31, at kilometer 52 (Madrid direction), as explained by the 112 of Castilla-La Mancha through its social networks. The members are athletes from the Albacete Basketball School.
The emergency care service in the region received the notice at 3:54 p.m. this Saturday. The Civil Guard, firefighters from La Roda, road maintenance have traveled to the place and three UVIs and two ambulances have been activated.
«It is confirmed that 25 minors travel on the bus and two adults, a cadet and children’s team from the Albacete Basketball School. Of those 25 people, 24 have been slightly injured with the exception of one serious. These are the details of the latest information offered by the Emergency Service of Castilla – La Mancha.
As explained by the emergency service itself through its channels, all the injured have been treated on the same road, of which 20 people have not needed transfer. Those transferred to the Albacete Hospital are 3 13-year-old boys, a 45-year-old man and another 46-year-old, the latter had to be released by the firefighters
