The La Châtre badminton club, chaired by Isabelle Bourdaa, had the honor of hosting Saturday March 4 and Sunday March 5, 2023, in the high school gymnasium, the big badminton party, namely the departmental championship.
The members of the club took up the challenge of welcoming some 150 competitors of all ages, in collaboration with the departmental committee chaired by Catherine Labrune, which was responsible for sports management.
Coming from all the Indian clubs, the badminton players competed in skill during the two days. The first was devoted to men’s and women’s singles and the beginning of mixed doubles; the second was reserved for the mixed doubles suite as well as the men’s and women’s doubles.
