Anthony Power, investor representative at the third division soccer team TSV 1860 Munich, has reported again on Instagram. He treated his followers to a piece of punk rock with the song “Idiots Are Taking Over” by NOFX. The lyrics include: “Now the idiots have taken over / They’re spreading like a social cancer”, “I’m starting to feel like Charlton Heston / Stranded on a primate planet / Monkeys and orangutans who kill him to rubble,” and “There is no reason for democracy when ignorance is celebrated.” This could once again easily be referred to the TSV 1860, in which qua 50+1 not the investor side, but the executive committee elected by the club members has the right to have the last word. Power wrote one of his famous sayings: “Weak people do not talk and act. Strong people act and are silent.” And: “Now the idiots have taken over.”
