Zverev drops two places in the standings, Djokovic remains number 1 at ATP

Last Monday, Serbian Novak Djokovic regained the lead in the ATP rankings after his victory at the Australian Open. This week, the main change in the top 20 concerns Alexander Zverev who fell to 16th place. The German, 14th when the rankings were last updated, had a mixed week in the Davis Cup with a victory against Stan Wawrinka and a defeat against Marc-Andrea Huesler, 53rd in the world.

Consequently, the American Frances Tiafoe (14th) and the Spaniard Pablo Carreno (15th) take advantage of this and each grab a place to overtake the German, eliminated on Saturday by Switzerland in the Davis Cup. No movement is to be notified in the first places, Djokovic retaining the lead ahead of the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Bonzi still top ranked

Benjamin Bonzi remains number 1 in France with his 42nd place in the world, closely followed by Richard Gasquet (45th) and Constant Lestienne (48th). In the Top 100, the progression of the week is the work of 25-year-old Russian Roman Safiullin, who rose 18 places and climbed to 82nd place after winning the Challenger of Koblenz in Canada.
