James Crawford surprisingly won gold in the Super-G at the World Ski Championships in Courchevel on Thursday. The Canadian prevailed by a razor-thin margin of 0.01 seconds over Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde. Third place went to Alexis Pinturault from France (+0.26). The best Austrian was Raphael Haaser in fifth (+0.58).
